This foam – backed, RFID and barcode tag also has human readable information – three ways to help you identify fleet trucks, tractors, forklifts or other critical assets. It can be used for many different purposes such as identifying rack locations in a warehouse, metallic assets like fleet trucks, forklifts and tractors, as well as IT assets. There are a variety of ways to attach these tags, from permanent adhesive to magnet backed for quick removal and re-use. This is a cost effective alternative to higher priced metal mount tags.


Multiple Data Modalities


The tag is available with custom printed barcode information, serial numbers, or your corporate logo and message. The sturdy label face is backed with foam and an aggressive permanent adhesive. This RFID tag will read directly on metal.


Metal Mount Capability


Frick's RFID and barcode tag can be directly attached via adhesive or magnets to metallic surfaces.

Test* Temperatures and Duration Results
Maximum Temperature Long-term at 10 hr: 140°F (60°C) No effect on tag. Tag remained the same in appearance and RFID performance/function. There was no sign of peeling, tearing or destruction. The tag read normal after the tests. *Test is not limiting.
Standard at 5 min: 158°F (70°C)
Short-term at 90 sec: 168°F (76°C)
Minimum Temperature -40°F (-40°C)
Temperature Cycling The tag was cycled to 168°F at equilibrium for five times. Between each cycle, it was air cooled to room temperature and read with an RFID reader.

Tag performance was experimentally measured in an anechoic chamber and a known set of experimental variables. The antenna used for measurements was linearly polarized and of monostatic configuration. The direction of tested polarization is as follows.
