This economical Zip Tie RFID tag is great for use in a variety of applications including service & calibration, logistics, asset tracking and cable management. The durable zip tie design makes it easy to permanently install and provides a visual proof of tampering.


The Zip Tie RFID tag can be laser etched with product information or serial data to help you identify assets. It is IP68-rated for dust and water resistance. RoHS compliant.

Test* Temperatures and Duration Results
Maximum Temperature Long-term at 10 hr: 144°F (62°C) No effect on tag. Tag remained the same in appearance and RFID performance/function. There was no sign of peeling, tearing or destruction. The tag read normal after the tests. *Test is not limiting.

Standard at 5 min: 158°F (70°C)

Short-term at 90 sec: 162°F (72°C)
Minimum Temperature -40°F (-40°C)
Temperature Cycling The tag was cycled to 143°F at equilibrium for five times. Between each cycle, it was air cooled to room temperature and read with an RFID reader.
