The Silicone RFID Tag from William Frick & Company is generous in size and useful for a variety of health and medical asset tagging, as well as tracking industrial chemical containers. The tags also can be made into logos for clothing, shoes and similar items. They are durable and extremely impact resistant. Tested at 500°F for five hours, the tags still read. They can be laser etched and produced in any color. These durable tags are flexible, resiliant, extremely impact resistant and won't compress.

Maximum Temperature Long–term at 5 hrs: 500°F (260°C) No effect on tag. Tag remained the same in appearance and RFID performance/function. There was no sign of peeling, tearing or destruction. The tag read normal after the tests. *Test is not limiting.
Short–term at 90 sec: 570°F (300°C)
Minimum Temperature –40°F (–40°C)
Temperature Cycling The tag was cycled to 500°F at equilibrium for five times. Between each cycle, it was air cooled to room temperature and read with an RFID reader.

Tested Polarization:

Tag performance was experimentally measured in an anechoic chamber and a known set of experimental variables. The antenna used for measurements was linearly polarized and of monostatic configuration. The direction of tested polarization is as follows.
