This flexible, yet durable UHF RFID laundry tag is specifically designed for tracking inventory and loss prevention of flat linens, dry cleaning, uniforms and other housekeeping items. The tag's woven cotton-polyester design is hemmed, stitched, or heat-sealed discretely with no pocket necessary.

 

The high-performance RFID antenna resists high temperatures, water, chemicals, and pressure. It will even withstand up to 300 wash and heat cycles. The RFID tag is great for industries such as hospitality, hotels, hospitals and laundry services.

Test* Temperatures and Duration Results
Maximum Temperature Long-term at 10 hr: 248°F (120°C) No effect on tag. Tag remained the same in appearance and RFID performance/function. There was no sign of peeling, tearing or destruction. The tag read normal after the tests. *Test is not limiting.
Standard at 5 mins: 281°F (138°C)
Short-term at 90 sec: 298°F (148°C)
Minimum Temperature -40°F (-40°C)
Temperature Cycling The tag was cycled to 298°F at equilibrium for five times. Between each cycle, it was air cooled to room temperature and read with an RFID reader.

 


RFID Laundry tag can be sewn into hem, stitched or heat-sealed.

Adhesive

Model 6B6996 is designed to be stitched in to the article to be tagged, and Model 6B6998 is designed to be heat sealed onto the article by using an iron or heat-sealing device.
