The Dual Record Emergency Equipment Tags are provided as a blank tag for OEMs or airlines to print and encode their own EPC and Spec 2000 User Memory data. The long read range (up to 30 feet - 10 meters) helps to quickly identify emergency equipment with in the cabin and cargo hold during maintenance scans.


These tags can be easily attached using cable tie, safety wire or with the adhesive strip on the back. They are designed specifically for the aviation industry with conformance to SAE AS5678A.


The Dual Record Emergency Equipment Tag can be customized with corporate information, text or barcodes. They can also be pre-encoded. The permanent acrylic adhesive adheres to a variety of surfaces including LSE materials.

Maximum Temperature Long-term at 3 hr: 185°F (85°C) No effect on tag. Tag remained the same in appearance and RFID performance/function. There was no sign of peeling, tearing or destruction. The tag read normal after the tests. *Test is not limiting.Per AS5678A Standard

Tag performance was experimentally measured in an anechoic chamber and a known set of experimental variables. The antenna used for measurements was linearly polarized and of monostatic configuration. The direction of tested polarization is as follows.
