Safe-T-Step is designed to help avoid serious injury offering a removable handrail, 400 lb. weight capacity and easy to attach construction fitting all pick up trucks. Safe-T-Step is mounted in a flat position on the tailgate and won’t interfere with cargo being hauled. After installation, Safe-T-Step can be manually unfolded. When ready to store, Safe-T-Step retracts on it’s own with a simple release of a pull-pin.
To ensure longevity and maximum durability, Safe-T-Step is constructed with heat treated cast aluminum alloy and provides a non-slip surface. It is also lightweight and portable so that it can be removed and installed on any vehicle.
