Firearms Tracking and Gun Tracking
Any organization that uses firearms in its operations can benefit from modern gun tracking systems using radio frequency identification (RFID) technology. Government agencies at the federal, state and local levels, private security companies, corrective institutions and the military all need to have strict accountability for weapons in their armories and firearms issued to individual personnel.
Guns tagging with RFID labels incorporated into computer controlled gun tracking and accounting systems enable organizations to track the whereabouts of weapons assigned to individuals and to keep automated records of firearms maintenance and safety programs. Firearms manufacturers, importers, exporters and retailers can use RFID technology to track shipments from the factory to the store display case, and to provide theft deterrence and fraud detection at every step along the way.
William Frick & Company supplies small footprint metal mount RFID tags that are ideal for gun tracking systems. Our passive RFID tags can track guns as they move inside a prison or other secure facility, or as they are shipped between the factory and the end user. RFID scanners integrated with software systems keep permanent gun tracking records and maintenance records to ensure smooth security operations.
Our small passive RFID tags with strong adhesive backings are ideal for mounting on metal surfaces. Their ceramic exteriors provide excellent water, solvent and abrasion resistance. Fixed readers can track guns tagged with our RFID labels at ranges over ten feet and hand held readers can detect them at up to three feet, making our tags ideal for gun tracking systems within secure buildings. Whatever your guns tagging and gun tracking needs may be, you can call our customer service representatives to discuss the best solutions Frick can offer for your system.
