Buried warning tape
Detectable or non-detectable:
Made of tough metal detectable polyester material or non-detectable polyethylene with subsurface graphics to seal the legend from acids, alkalis and other soil substances. Tape is easily identified due to sharply printed legend on APWA color-coded background and meets OSHA regulation 1926.956(c)(1) covering location of underground utility lines. Manual or automatic installation is easy (4"-6" below the surface is recommended for maximum detectability). Foil is 4 or 6 mils and standard roll size is 1,000 ft. or 6,000 ft.
