HBW2 Small Footprint Metal Mount RFID Tag
The HBW2 Small Footprint RFID Tag from William Frick & Company is our stealth tag, perfect for discreet use in asset management and telecom equipment administration. The HBW2 RFID tag, which comes with a high-performance permanent adhesive backing, can be mounted directly onto metal surfaces, or embedded or hidden in most electronics equipment to assist in discovery and tracking. The adhesive can be changed to meet the needs of any application.
Tools and Firearms Tracking
Because this tag has such a small footprint and works on metal, it is perfect for tracking firearms, tools and metal containers. A tag can easily be hidden or embedded into small assets and securely applied with an aggressive adhesive backing.
Network and Telecommunication Equipment Administration
Frick's HBW2 RFID tags can be used to identify metal cabinets, computer equipment and telecommunications equipment. They are perfect for managing technology and telecom equipment because of their small form factor, long read range, and high durability of the outer ceramic casing.
They also can be used to discover powered down or off-network resources. The large storage size of the HBW2 RFID tag can keep an audit trail of critical IT information—from the equipment's purchase date to maintenance records to destruction date.
