Double your product security with a tamper-indicating AuthentiCal tag enabled with RFID technology.  This tag adheres securely to bottles and other vessels, providing RFID marking benefits even when the products are closely arrayed.  Because the tag stands away from the bottle, it maximizes its radio frequency read range and is ideal for retail and food-and-beverage establishments.

The tag's security film is designed to indicate tampering by destructing when an attempt is made to remove the label.  Attempted removal results in a fracturing of the adhesive layer and leaves the word “VOID” on the applied surface. The compact format of the "VOID" message permits manufacture of small labels (0.5" x 1.25").  This label will bond well to a variety of surfaces including high- and low-surface energy substrates.  The durable polyester facestock withstands harsh environments.

Application to any surface requires removal of surface contaminants by wiping with a solvent.  This label will aggressively adhere to: stainless steel, ABS, polypropylene, painted metal, polyester, HDPE, nylon, glass and polycarbonates.

As with any tamper-indicating system, careful consideration must be taken when designing labels and seals.  When the consequences of tampering are severe, this product is not recommended as the sole indicator that a package has been opened or altered.  Additional methods in combination with these labels should be considered.
